Cultural Competence for Community-Service Organizations
The diverse individuals, families, and communities you serve expect your organization to be able to interact effectively with them. As our communities become more culturally diverse, cultural competency training in the workplace is essential. This two-day institute is a highly engaging and reflective training that will provide your team with the knowledge and skills to increase their cultural sensitivity and awareness of cultural differences, and to provide services to clients using approaches that are responsive, respectful, and culturally strengths-based.
Unconscious Bias and Diversity Training

Biases, assumptions, stereotypes, and judgment of others are barriers to productive team collaboration and delivery of service to culturally diverse clients because they impact how we interact with those who differ from us. Through such strategies as storytelling and mapping personal diversity journeys, this two-day training will give your team ways to recognize potentially harmful biases they have of others and explore how this impacts their behavior and the decisions they make.

This training uses Bridge Development Corporation’s 5 Cs for Successful Leadership Framework to support leaders with developing skills to effectively communicate, manage conflict, lead successful change, coach others, and foster team collaboration. The Team Leadership and Management training is ideal for new leaders or those who want to develop their performance management skills to lead highly productive teams.
