Our Programs

Differentiated and Structured Programs to Help Individuals Reach their Personal Goals

Day Services Adult Program

Bridge Development Corporation’s Day Services Adult program is designed to provide a person-centered system of service with a framework of supports that are self-directed, individualized, culturally responsive, trauma informed, holistic, strengths-based, and provide for community participation opportunities. Bridge Development Corp program supports are measurable and individualized for each person receiving services.

Bridge Development Corporation provides engaging activities to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities reach their goals with enjoyable daily activities. With a strong focus on relationship building, we have a low staff to client ratio to create a positive learning and social environment that provides structure and excitement for program participants. Hot meals and delicious snacks are provided during day service programs.

Our team takes a hands-on approach to incorporate differentiated and structured learning that helps each individual reach their personal goals. We get to know each person and help them with their Individualized Service Plan (ISP). Since each person’s needs change over time, we revisit goals and modify them on a consistent basis.

Home and Community-Based Services

Many adults with significant physical or mental impairments live at home with their family. Bridge Development Corporation provides assistance to individuals who live with their families but need additional care and support with daily living activities in the comfort of their home. The primary goal of our in-home care is to assist individuals and their loved ones as they strive to stay in the community and living arrangement of their choice.

We provide assistance with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs). Other activities can include assistance with keeping appointments, use of natural supports and other typical community services available to all people, social activities and participation in leisure activities. This can include additional community outings after the Day Service Program hours end and weekends.

In-Home Respite

This service provides temporary, periodic relief to parents/caregivers who normally provide care for the eligible person. In-Home Respite personnel provide all the necessary care the usual caregiver would provide during the same time period including: assistance personal care needs, eating and meal preparation, and leisure activities.
