SUMMARY: Serves as the liaison between the Director of Day Services and all Direct Support Assistants. This team member will provide assistance to people served with living skills development, health maintenance, personal care, and behavioral development in accordance with an Individual Service Plan. The Direct Support Assistant Team Lead will directly assist participation for people served in traditional daily and weekly activities and serve as an advocate for consumers to be fully integrated into community life.
Qualifications for this position include being at least 21 years old and having a high school diploma and a minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting people with intellectual/developmental disabilities and having a working knowledge of various nutrition standards and menu development and procedures associated with meal preparation.
